Rayitos Brillantes…

…Rayitos Brillantes…

Past hair jrfashionstyling techniques often made it necessary to camouflage a “dye job” with a perky cut or a wig. Lightening jet-black hair meant hours of bleaching that left hair looking more like yellow straw than platinum blond. Towheads, who wanted a darker shade, were often left with a gothic look before gothic was a trend and those looking for strawberry blond commonly got fire-engine red. Of course, modern hair coloring techniques made fire-engine red a fashion trend instead of a hair coloring catastrophe! Modern hair coloring techniques add true dimension to style right down to the natural movement of your hair. Highlights, twilights, and lowlights are just a few of the choices that enhance both your face and your hairstyle. In addition, hair coloring techniques include veiling and chunking. Types of Hair Jrfashionstyling
Techniques Highlights: Probably one of the first innovations in hair coloring, highlights brighten and add shine. Highlights work best in warm shades of gold, honey, amber, and reds and can be applied with permanent hair color or created with over-the-counter hair mascara, which usually wash out after one shampoo. Twilighting: When you want a lighter hair color to show a subtle change, twilighting is the answer. Twilighting tones down too-bright hair colors by adding a few darker tones. Twilights are closely related to lowlights. Lowlights: A hair coloring technique that adds real depth to hair color. Like twilights, low lights add darker tones and soften the look of over-lightened hair or add dimension to hair color that looks flat. A skilled stylist can weave up to three different colors into your hair by pulling a few strands here and there through a weave cap for a subtle look or foiling chunks of your hair for a dramatic, trendy look. Veiling: Brightens and enhances old flat hair color by applying a semi-permanent glaze in a richer tone over a permanent shade. Chunking: Takes large, random sections of hair and infuses them with new color. Chunking is a hair coloring technique that gives dramatic impact to your hairstyle, often by adding bright, trendy colors to natural hair color. Hair Coloring Technique Processes Weave caps: Used most often in highlighting, twilighting, and lowlighting, your stylist pulls small strands through holes in the weave cap. The effect is usually a subtle change that enhances your basic hair color. Highlighting with a weave cap also helps to camouflage gray or roots growing back after a permanent hair color application. Foiling: Your stylist places sections of hair onto rectangular sheets of foil and applies color or lightener, folding the foil to keep the color in place and away from other sections. Of all highlighting techniques, foiling can be applied closest to the root. Baliage: A great application for textured, natural curls, or wavy hair. Your stylist selects specific areas and hand paints them with color. This dramatic implementation of a hair coloring technique leaves you with a very “personal” appearance!

Choosing a Hair Color

. Choosing a Hair Color Time was when your hair color choices were blonde, red, brunette, and black, but those days are long gone! Each basic hair color comes in a full array of choices from platinum blonde to jet-black. Moreover, the modern consumer must choose from non-traditional hair colors that range from hot pink to chartreuse. However, the wrong hair color choice can give you the blues and leave you red in the face! First Hair Color Choices The best method in choosing a hair color is first to choose the results you want from it. Depending on whether you are covering gray, highlighting a natural hair color, or using hair color to completely change your image, knowing what you want helps you to narrow down hair coloring choices. Before you get down to choosing a hair color, first decide on your commitment to hair coloring. Temporary hair colors wash out in a shampoo or two, semi permanent products typically last for a couple of months, while permanent dyes may either give you grow-out pains or necessitate frequent root touch ups. Choosing a Compatible Hair Color After you’ve decided on results and made your commitment, it’s time to get out the color wheel. Beauty experts tell us that we’re either “cool” or “warm” depending on our skin tone, eye color, and natural hair color. Cool Category Warm Category Eyes Dark Brown, Black-Brown, Gray Blue, Dark Blue, or Hazel with white gray or blue flecks Golden brown, Green, Green-Blue, Turquoise, Hazel with gold or brown flecks Hair Blue black, Deep brown, Ash brown, Ash Blond, Platinum Blond Deep brown with gold or red highlights, Red, Strawberry Blond, Gray-Yellow, Natural Golden Blond Skin Very dark brown, True olive, Medium pale, Medium with golden undertones, Pale, Bronze Brown with pink or golden undertones, Peachy or with peachy undertones, Pale with gold undertones, Freckled, Ruddy Although this is good advice, if you’ve just finished a tanning session, if you have some complexion problems (Rosacea, liver spots, blemishes), or if your hair color is already not what nature intended (in other words previously tinted or more salt than pepper), it may be difficult to determine by examining your skin tone and hair color. Don’t despair! There is a shortcut! Examine your wardrobe. Cool hues are green, blue, and violet. Warm hues are reds, oranges, and yellows. Chances are, your wardrobe is a mix with either cool or warm hues in the majority. Clothing colors that look good on you and make you feel comfortable probably indicate if you’re in the cool or warm category. For instance, if olive drab makes you fade into the woodwork, then cool tones like ash blonde (ash tones contain green) are probably not for you. In addition, most commercial hair colors have aids on the box, yet if you have a hard time deciding which group is your group, you may want to seek the advice of a professional hair stylist. Hair Color Tips: 1-Highlighting is a great way to add tone to monochromatic hair (jet black, pure brown). 2-Beware of hair colors that have green, blue, or purple undertones, like “ash”. If you mix them with warm tones, your hair color will turn out green. 3-The levels (one to twelve) you see on hair coloring boxes are the lightness or darkness of the color. Level one is black (darkest) and level twelve is light blond. “ 4-Complimentary colors” are opposite each other on the color wheel. Blue-orange, violet-yellow, etc. If you want to neutralize unwanted highlights, choose the complementary color. For instance, red will cancel out an ash undertone, and an ashen color neutralizes any red highlights in your hair. 5-Be sure to check if your hair color is a “progressive dye”. Progressive dyes continually add more color with each use. For instance, if you’re coloring blond hair black, your first use of a progressive hair color may not give the result you expected. However, continued use will turn your hair jet black. 6-Hair colors, like perms, are chemically based so if you’re pregnant, be sure to check with your doctor before coloring your hair. 7-Henna hair dyes are organic based hair colors that don’t mix well with chemicals. 8-
Stay out of the pool and the ocean after coloring your hair. Neither sea salt nor chlorine mixes well with chemical hair colors.

The Best Length for Fine Hair

If you want to work with your fine hair to create a great look, then finding out what hair length will best suit your locks is a great place to start.
While wearing your hair as long or as short as you want is a decision that’s totally up to you, sometimes your hair has other ideas. And when your hair is fine, those ideas mean lank, volumeless locks stopping you from styling your hair how you want to, and causing lots of frustration. Rather than forcing your hair to be something it’s not, however, why not try working with your fine hair characteristics to find a hair length that will suit you and give you a great look, every time! The Best Length for Fine HairThe best length for fine hair is short to medium. Fine hair is very prone to knots and fly-away strands and naturally lacks volume so anything longer than your shoulders is going to really hit you hard when it comes to styling. We recommend taking your hair to a length that is as short as you are comfortable and confident with, and to opt for hairstyles that add volume and promote the illusion of thickness. Short Hair Length Ideas A short look for fine hair should have plenty of volume and promote a thicker look. Add curls or waves (right) with a curling iron or hot hair rollers, or go for a straight look with plenty of piecey texture thanks to some hair gel (left). Medium Hair Length Ideas As for a medium length look, add thickness with heavy blunt cut bangs (left) or volume filled waves (right), and keep your length hovering around your shoulders so you get just the right amount of weight and balance.

Anti-Aging Hair Tips

While you’re only as old or as young as you feel, sometimes the way we cut, color, care for and style our hair can create a look that ages us beyond our years. To avoid looking older than you'd like, ensure you're putting your most youthful look forward with these anti-aging hair tips! Light reflecting hair colors that contain warm golden tones will promote an age-banishing glow, but avoid really light ash blonde colors or super cool hair shades as they will take the warmth out of your skin and add years. It's also a good idea to avoid really dark hair colors unless you're naturally dark as the hue can wreak havoc with an aging complexion. If you can't stand the idea of not having dark hair, however, you can make the shade more flattering and youthful by adding light highlights around your face. Add Long Hair LayersLong hair layers through the crown and along the hairline will soften your face and promote a more youthful complexion. Long layers also help to downplay the look of thinning hair, which tends to naturally happen as we get older. Go For Hair VolumeAdding bounce and youthful locks to your hair is easy. Just choose hairstyles that use plenty of hair volume and backcombing! Keep Your Haircut in ShapeIf you’ve already got a haircut that you love then ensure that you keep it updated with regular trims which will promote clean lines. The neater and more in shape your hair looks, the less it will age your features. Get Healthy HairBanish dry hair, split ends and other hair damage with a hair care routine, moisturizing products, treatments and regular hair trims. Nothing ages hair more than dull, frizz-filled locks so get healthy hair instead! Having great looking hair will also boost your confidence, and is sure to get you some nice compliments. Now who doesn't love that? Flatter with Your Hair LengthIf you don't mind cutting your hair if it's long, or growing it if it's currently short, then try the most flattering hair length - medium! Having a hair length that stops somewhere between your chin and collarbone generally goes well with any hair type and will give you a fresh new look. Fringe BenefitsTry side-swept bangs to promote a youthful look. They will also promote a thicker look if your hair is starting to thin out. Switch Your ShampooSwitch to an anti-aging shampoo and conditioner. They cater for hair that has lost its luster and will nourish and moisturize your aging strands.

HAIR CARE · HAIR GROWING TIPS

HAIR CARE · HAIR GROWING TIPS The most common question I get here at HairStyle.com, is how to make hair grow faster. Unfortunately the truth is there is no instant way to grow long hair. Long hair is a committment and something that takes alot of time and care. If you want long hair for a specific event, such as a wedding or prom, then hair extensions, clip on ponytails or long wigs are the only solution for instant hair growth. Not everyone can grow a head of waist length hair. If you have fine, thin or severely damaged hair, you may have a difficult time growing your hair past a medium length. Your hair grows up to 6 inches a year. The weather can also affect the your hair growth - hair tends to grow more rapidly in the summer, while growing more slowly during winter. If you're ready for the commitment of growing long hair, make sure you continue to have regular trims to keep your hair looking and feeling healthy. It might seem like the quickest way to grow your hair is not to cut it at all, but that is not the case. Regular trims, every 8-10 weeks, will keep your hair looking good while you go through many stages of growing it out. Wear and Tear Once your hair emerges from your scalp, it is considered dead and has no way to renew itself. So by the time your hair is past your shoulders it is a couple of years old. Even if we look after our hair, it is still a long time to face the daily wear and tear we inflict on our hair - brushing, washing, blow drying, dying and more! This daily damage plus your bodies health can all impact on your hair growing abilities. Reasons for slow hair growth A healthy diet also plays a major role in your hair's condition and growth rate. Nutritional deficiencies can lead to thinning hair - ultimately your hair reflects the condition of your body. Your hair may stop growing if you have any health problems or are suffering from any nutritional deficiencies. Since hair is protein, a low protein diet may sometimes be the cause of a slow hair growth cycle. If you eat a protein-rich diet, it will often result in improved hair growth. Excessive stress is known to slow down hair growth, and can even lead to hair falling out. If your life is particularly stressful, try to set aside some time for meditation or relaxation. It has also been discovered that regular sleep can help your hair grow faster (7-9 hours a night is suggested). Foods, Vitamins and supplements to help hair growth Hair is mostly protein, so nutritionists advise those wanting healthy hair to eat well balanced diets that include healthy proteins, along with foods high in vitamin B, C, E, A and K. Your hair will most likely respond well to the addition of high protein foods such as meats, eggs, cheese, seeds and nuts. Fish has good protein as well as essential fatty acids and natural oils. Vitamin B - Green vegetables, beans, sunflower seeds, nuts and peas. Vitamin C - Citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, limes, melons and berries. Vitamin E - Avocados, rice bran, nuts, dark green vegetables, legumes and whole grains. Vitamin A - Carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, broccoli, cantaloupe and apricots. Vitamin K - Seafood, dairy, figs, asparagus, broccoli, lettuce, brussel sprouts, cabbage, dark green leafy vegetables, oatmeal, soybeans, wheat, yoghurt, egg yolks and liver. Hair Growing Tips •Eating a healthy diet. Avoid or cut back on smoking, drinking alcohol, caffeine and foods that are high in sugar or fat. These are all bad for your body, and will affect the condition of your hair.
•Allow your body to grow hair by giving yourself plenty of sleep and rest. Give yourself time to relax when you're feeling very stressed. •Buy a good quality brush or comb - avoid cheap plastic brushes. •Treat your hair carefully by avoiding any unnecessary brushing. •Limit the use of styling tools such as straighteners, hair dryers and hot rollers - these all cause stress to your hair. •Have regular trims to get rid of split ends and to keep your hair looking and feeling healthy. •Weekly scalp massages provide stimulation to the hair follicles. •Also do a weekly hair treatment to protect the hair's shaft. •Avoid chlorine and saltwater. If you go swimming, shampoo your hair as soon as possible afterwards. If you spend alot of time in the sun, use a conditioner that provides SPF protection. •Do not brush your hair when wet. Use a wide tooth comb and be gentle with your hair when it is wet. Do not rub it vigorously with a towel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HAIR CARE ARTICLES Hair Care Tips - A guide to treating your hair right, handling it with care. HAIR STYLES · WHAT HAIR SUITS MY FACE?

HAIR STYLES · WHAT HAIR SUITS MY FACE? Even though you may love the latest celebrity hair style, it might not be the right hair style for your face. The shape of your face and the proportions of your features will help tell you what hairstyle is best suited to you. • Oval-shaped face You're lucky - this is the kind of face shape that suits just about any hairstyle. Both long and short hair cuts look great on you, as your face shape is well balanced. The chin and forehead of an oval face shape are in even proportion. Avoid covering up your perfect face shape with heavy bangs or wearing your hair on your face. You'll lose your face shape and it may add weight to your face. • Round face Hairstyles with fullness and height at the crown will give the impression of a narrower face. Try a cut with layers while keeping the sides close to your face to make your face appear longer. Round faces suit either short hairstyles swept back from your forehead, or hairstyles that are longer than chin length. Wispy fringes and side parts are also good. Avoid chin length hair, center parts, fullness at the sides of ears, straight "chopped bangs - these wll all emphasise the shape of your face. • Heart-shaped face The heart shaped face is widest at the temples and narrowest at the chin, which can appear pointy. Short hair and chin length hair often looks great on this face shape, as the fullness can even out the jaw and chin lines. Chin length bobs, short shags, swept forward layers and wispy bangs all work well. Avoid full styles that emphasise the upper face without balancing out your narrow chin. Too much height at the crown and tapered necklines will make you look top heavy. • Rectangular, Long face If your face is long and slender, with your forehead and below cheeks about the same width, hairstyles that balance out the length of your face work best for you. These include short to medium lengths with fullness at the sides and soft wispy bangs. This will shorten the length and add width to your face. Layered styles work well and add softness to the straight lines of your face. Avoid too much length, it will only make your face look longer. Too much height will also lengthen your face. • Square face If your face is square, with a strong, square jaw line and often an equally square hairline, the right hairstyles for you are ones that soften the square look of your face. Short to medium length hair cuts, with soft wispy bangs and a wave or curl will compliment and balance out your straight face shape. If you hair is straight, maybe consider a body wave. Side parts and fullness/height at the crown can add length to your square face shape. Avoid straight styles - long straight hair, blunt bangs, straight bobs and center parts, as they will emphasise your square jawline. • Triangle face If you face is triangle, with a wider chin that narrows at the forehead, you want to stick to styles that narrow your chin and widen the forehead. This will balance out your features. Shorter hair can often balance our your prominent jaw line, as well as styles that are full at the temples that taper at the jaw. Off center parts, wedges and shags are also good styles for you. Lots of layers will give you the fullness through the upper part of your face. Avoid Styles that are full at the jawline and center parts. • Full forehead, long chin If your forehead is large and your chin long, it can help to add volume below the chin line to balance it out. A thick layered cut or mid-length bob will add fullness where it's needed. Bangs can also reduce the look of a full forehead. • Large features Full hair can help downplay a large nose or other feature and can help balance out large features. Straight hair, parted down the middle or a long, heavy fringe will make a larger nose seem even more prominent. Subtle highlights in your hair can help by drawing the eye towards the hair and away from the face. • Long or short neck A long, graceful neck is a beautiful and desireable feature and should be shown off and considered when choosing a hairstyle. Short hair can really show off your neck, however long hair can also add to your already graceful neck when worn in an elegant style, like a twist or updo. If you want a short hairstyle and your neck is short, create the appearance of length by tapering your hair at the base of the neck and fuller on top.

Hair Color and Hair Lengths

Hair Color and Hair Lengths Before coloring your hair, you also need to think about the length. If you have really short hair, all over color is your best bet. Highlights won't blend as well in shorter hair. One thing to remember for short hair is that all over color needs to be touched up every 4-6 weeks. Depending on how short your hair is, this is probably close to your schedule for hair cuts. That being said, highlighting short hair can be done depending on the cut. As you can see in this photo of Mariska Hargitay, a short cut with long hair on top looks great with highlights. The key is having longer layers on top so the highlights blend. For medium to long hair, highlights around the face can be especially flattering. Highlights require less maintenance than all over color. You can go 2-3 months between touch ups. However - if you used permanent color for your highlights you also need to watch regrowth so you don't end up with one color on top and a different color at the bottom of your hair.

Aprende a vender

Aquí no quiero comprarla.

a) Su apariencia o imagen personal.

a) Color
b) Forma
c) Estilo
d) Escala

Aretes Swarovski

Para elegirlos por color tienes tres opciones:
1) Combinarlos según tu estación (fría o cálida). Colores fríos: negro, blanco, plata, azul, etc.
